CALLING ALL OR TZEDEK ARTISTSCafe Finjan, JCUA's annual Jewish/Muslim performing arts event, is seeking work that explores the theme “New Roots Chicago: Digging our past and branching into our future.” The experiences of nurturing a home, and tensions between uprooting and rerooting in the Chicagoland area will be the key issue for our 2012 interfaith art exchange.
Jewish and Muslim poets, singer-songwriters, storytellers, comedians, actors, dancers, bands, visual artists or filmmakers can apply today.

SUMMER LEADERSHIP TEAM: WANNA BE A PART OF IT?
Calling all youth planners, researchers, leaders, recruiters, and organizers!
We are putting together a summer leadership team and we want you to join. This is an an incredible opportunity to apply the skills you learned at Or Tzedek, collaborate closely with JCUA’s community partners, and work with other Jewish teen activists to engage youth and plan workshops for Or Tzedek’s summer sessions. Be a part of creating our summer experience and learn how to use social media, community organizing, and recruitment strategies to grow the young Jewish social justice movement.

SOCIAL JUSTICE SEDER:MAKE THIS NIGHT TRULY 'DIFFERENT'
JCUA is looking for creative youth with a passion for social justice to participate in JCUA's annual Freedom and Justice Seder! This year's event will highlight issues of food, economic, housing, and immigrant justice. Participants could read or perform original pieces of poetry, music, or other artistic expressions pertaining to these issues and should not be longer than three minutes.
