Accommodations
Participants will be housed at Hosteling International. Or Tzedek will have a secured floor for the program. The hostel is within walking distance of the Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies (where meals and workshops are held), as well as to Millennium Park, Buckingham Fountain, the Art Institute, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and the city’s special summer festivals.
The neighborhood is safe, fun and easy to get to from anywhere in Chicago. Also note that participants are accompanied by staff at all times throughout the program, including during any free time.

Food
Program lunches and dinners are certified Kosher, catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering and served at the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies in downtown Chicago. Chicago’s most noted kosher chef, Laura Frankel, will prepare a healthy and fun menu for the program. Breakfast will be supplied by the hostel.
We want to make sure that everybody is comfortable with the food choices available. As such, different dietary needs including vegetarian, lactose-free, nut-free, as well as a certified Kosher breakfast option will be available.
