Or Tzedek Teen wins Teen Leadership Award
Congratulations to Or Tzedek Teen Leader, Benjamin Jacobi for being selected as one of only ten winners of the 2010 Jewish Federation Teen Leadership Awards. Throughout the year, Ben and the other winners will participate in a mini-mission to learn more about the Jewish community, will meet with community lay and professional leaders, will form a Teen Leadership Committee that will help to plan and recruit for community-wide events, and will serve as ambassadors to the Jewish teen community in their high schools, congregations, and beyond. Ben is the second Or Tzedek Teen Leader to win this award: Sam won it in 2008!

Or Tzedek Teen takes on Hunger
Or Tzedek Teen Leader, Arielle, is the co-president of the Greater Midwest Region of BBYO, www.gmrbbyo.org“This year, everyone in BBYO across the International order is participating in something called the StandUP! Campaign. Each region chooses a topic, such as hunger, and for the entire programming year, dedicates time, money, and advocacy efforts to helping that specific cause and educating the community in which they live. GMR (Great Midwest Region) chose hunger, more specifically the ARK, as our issue and organization.” says Arielle. Kol HaKavod!
